VIRTUAL IMMERSION
Embodied Healing & The 4-D Way
Integrating Somatics, Spirituality & Sexuality in Clinical Practice
For Therapists & Sex Therapists
Live Virtual Training | 16 AASECT CE Hours
Step into sacred space with us for a 3-day virtual immersion into the 4-D Wheel, a transformational model that bridges body, heart, mind, and spirit.
This experiential training is designed to guide clinicians and healing professionals into deeper alignment with themselves and their clients by integrating somatic intelligence, spiritual awareness, and sexuality through a decolonizing, inclusive, and trauma-informed lens.
Root into your knowing. Expand your clinical practice.
Honor your lineage. Heal with power.
You became a healer for a reason—because you hold the capacity to see, to feel, and to walk alongside others through their most tender and transformative moments. However, clinical training often overlooks the wisdom that resides within the body, the pulse of pleasure, the ache of grief, the mystery of the spirit, and the power of ancestral connection.
Are you seeking a more profound, integrative approach to serving your clients—one that engages them not just cognitively, but also somatically, relationally, and spiritually?
This powerful 3-day immersion is for therapists, sex therapists, and healing professionals who know that true healing isn’t linear—and who are ready to bring the sacred back into the therapeutic space.
You’ll learn how to guide clients through a transformational process using the 4-D Wheel, a multidimensional map of Body, Mind, Heart, and Spirit created by the late Dr. Gina (Lavalle) Ogden. Rooted in decades of clinical research and spiritual practice, the 4-D Wheel helps clients uncover the layers of their lived experience—from trauma and shame to longing, liberation, and joy.
This isn’t another cognitive framework. It’s a living, breathing process that brings your clients into direct connection with their truth—beyond scripts, diagnoses, and binary definitions.
The 4-D approach is particularly potent for those working with:
- Clients healing from sexual trauma, disconnection, or shame
- Individuals exploring their identities, desires, and boundaries
- Couples navigating trust, desire, betrayal, or change
- Marginalized communities are often excluded from traditional models
- Those at pivotal life transitions who crave meaning, embodiment, and renewal.
You’ll be guided to experience the wheel yourself—not just as a clinical tool, but as a mirror for your journey. Because when you are more embodied, more spiritually grounded, and more connected to your story and roots—you hold space in a way that changes everything.
Whether you work with individuals, couples, or complex relational systems, this immersion invites you to step into a radically different way of holding space—one that is:
✨ Embodied – honoring the body as a source of wisdom, regulation, and pleasure
✨ Relational – attuned to emotion, attachment, and interconnection
✨ Decolonizing – disrupting oppressive narratives and reclaiming ancestral power
✨ Spiritually Alive – grounded in sacred presence and collective healing
What You’ll Learn:
✔ How to integrate the 4-D Wheel into your therapeutic sessions with individuals and couples
✔ How to bring somatic and spiritual practices into sex therapy—ethically and accessibly
✔ How to navigate trauma, shame, and sexuality through the nervous system and soul
✔ How to support clients in reclaiming pleasure and purpose beyond binaries and diagnoses
✔ How to embody this work yourself so that you lead from presence and wholeness
Why 4-D? Why Now?
Most therapists are trained to work with thoughts and behaviors—to analyze, reframe, and restructure. These tools are valuable, but when it comes to sexuality, trauma, identity, and deep healing, they only scratch the surface.
Because healing doesn’t just live in the mind.
It lives in the body—in sensations, in contractions, in the memories stored in muscle and breath.
It pulses through the nervous system—shaped by years of vigilance, silence, or suppression.
It echoes across ancestral lines—through generational wounds, silenced stories, and cultural disconnection.
It aches in the heart—in grief, loneliness, longing, and the desire to be seen and loved without shame.
And it seeks to return to spirit—to something sacred, connected, and whole.
The 4-D Wheel is a radical invitation to work from this fuller truth. It offers a non-pathologizing, decolonizing, and soul-honoring framework that helps clients and clinicians access healing at every level: Body, Mind, Heart, and Spirit.
Now, more than ever, we need this.
We are living through a time of profound upheaval.
The sociopolitical landscape is charged with grief, fear, resistance, and awakening.
The ongoing impacts of systemic oppression, anti-LGBTQ+ legislation, reproductive injustice, racial violence, and cultural erasure are not just political issues—they show up in the therapy room, in the body, in the bedroom, in our nervous systems.
Clients are carrying these burdens. And so are we.
Traditional models of therapy—especially those rooted in colonial, patriarchal, and white-centered frameworks—are not designed to hold the complexity of what we are facing. They often fragment clients’ experiences or reduce them to symptoms, missing the deep intersections of trauma, pleasure, identity, and belonging.
The 4-D approach offers something different.
It allows us to sit with the nuance.
To meet our clients where they are—not just to treat, but to witness, to honor, to awaken.
To support them not only in “coping,” but in reclaiming power, pleasure, voice, and vision.
It’s not just about being trauma-informed. It’s about being transformation-informed.
It’s about creating space for clients—and ourselves—to reinhabit the sacred, reconnect with lineages of resilience, and remember what healing can be when it’s not confined by systems that weren’t designed for us.
This is the kind of therapy the world needs right now:
🌿 Embodied
🌿 Relational
🌿 Decolonizing
🌿 Spiritually grounded
🌿 Responsive to the moment we are in—and the future we want to build
The 4-D Wheel is a living map. It doesn’t give you all the answers. It gives you the space to ask better questions, to listen more deeply, and to trust in what emerges when clients are finally seen and held in their full humanity.
Now is the time.
To root in integrity.
To practice in alignment.
To expand your capacity to hold the complexity and the beauty of healing.
And to remember—you were called to this work for a reason.
Client Results You Can Support with the 4-D Approach
The 4-D Wheel helps clients move beyond cognitive insight into embodied transformation. It invites them to access healing in places traditional therapy often overlooks. With this multidimensional tool, you’ll be able to support clients in creating meaningful, lasting change—rooted in their body, spirit, relationships, and self-trust.
Here’s how 4-D can support your clients:
🔸 Clients healing from sexual trauma who feel disconnected from their bodies
Many survivors experience numbness, shame, or fear around their own bodies and sensuality. The 4-D Wheel helps clients reconnect safely with their physical selves, reestablish boundaries, and rediscover the possibility of pleasure without fear. Through somatic practices, they begin to feel not just “safe” but alive again—on their own terms.
🔸 Couples navigating mismatched desire, loss of connection, or betrayal
Instead of focusing only on “fixing” performance or communication, 4-D invites couples into a deeper exploration of each partner’s inner world—body sensations, emotional wounds, spiritual longings, and relational patterns. This process rebuilds trust, erotic attunement, and emotional intimacy in ways that feel sustainable and sacred.
🔸 Individuals struggling with shame, repression, or religious wounds
Sexual shame and repression often live at the intersection of early messages, religious conditioning, and cultural expectations. 4-D offers a compassionate container for clients to gently deconstruct internalized beliefs while honoring their values, boundaries, and heritage. This is a path of reclaiming joy, worthiness, and agency.
🔸 People entering new life stages—such as menopause, coming out, identity expansion, or grief—seeking ritual, meaning, and embodiment
Major life transitions deserve more than surface-level coping tools. 4-D helps clients anchor themselves in ritual, intention, and embodied presence. Whether it’s embracing queerness, navigating menopause, or grieving a loss, clients are supported to move through threshold experiences with greater clarity, reverence, and integration.
🔸 Clients who feel “stuck in therapy” and are craving a deeper layer of healing
Some clients hit a wall—they’ve talked about their trauma, know their patterns, and still feel like something’s missing. 4-D provides therapists with a means to transcend the mind, accessing body-based, emotional, and spiritual wisdom. This often reignites progress, awakens new insight, and offers a more holistic path forward.
🔸 Clients from historically marginalized or colonized communities who’ve felt unseen by traditional models
For many BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, immigrant, and spiritually-rooted clients, Western psychotherapy can feel disconnected from their lived experience. The 4-D Wheel makes space for ancestry, spirituality, and cultural identity, honoring the whole person without forcing assimilation into dominant norms.
When you integrate the 4-D approach, your work becomes more than therapy—it becomes sacred, embodied witnessing. And your clients begin to transform not just what they know, but how they live, love, and belong.

A Word on Cultural Appropriation & the Origins of the 4-D Wheel
The 4-D Wheel is not a generic “medicine wheel.”
It is a sacred map of healing rooted in both personal reclamation and intentional lineage connection.
This Wheel was created by Dr. Gina (Lavalle) Ogden—pioneering sex therapist, researcher, and feminist—in response to the limitations of Western, colonial frameworks of sexuality and healing. The 4-D Wheel emerged as part of her personal and ancestral healing journey, a sacred map to reclaim what had been lost, silenced, or hidden. As a woman of Peruvian descent, Dr. Gina Ogden—like many children of immigrant and divorced homes—had experienced a deep severance from her ancestral roots. Her reconnection began through the Pachakuti Mesa tradition and other earth-based rituals, which offered profound portals to ancestral wisdom and embodied remembrance. Through this sacred work, Gina wove her healing into a professional legacy—infusing the 4-D Wheel with ceremony, spiritual insight, and the pulse of Indigenous knowing that continues to guide therapists and seekers toward deeper wholeness.
This work did not emerge in isolation.
Gina’s deep spiritual study and healing work was profoundly guided and mentored by don Oscar Miro-Quesada, a highly respected Peruvian curandero and the lineage holder of the Pachakuti Mesa Tradition. In honoring her connection to the Andean cosmology, don Oscar claimed Gina as a spiritual daughter and formally blessed her use of the Pachakuti Mesa in her healing and therapeutic work.
This blessing was not symbolic—it was sacred, intentional, and lineage-based.
The 4-D Wheel grew from that honoring: a medicine of reclamation, not appropriation.
We teach and hold this work with the utmost reverence—for her lineage, for the traditions it honors, and for the sacred responsibility of carrying cross-cultural wisdom with humility and integrity.
As practitioners, we are called to work within frameworks that:
✨ Honor the roots of Indigenous and ancestral wisdom
✨ Resist extractive, performative, or watered-down use of sacred traditions
✨ Deepen connection with lineage, story, land, and spirit
✨ Engage in ongoing reflection, unlearning, and cultural humility
The 4-D Wheel invites us not only to work differently—but to be different in how we show up: as stewards, not consumers; as witnesses, not saviors; as collaborators, not colonizers.
This is how we carry the medicine forward—with respect, relationship, and responsibility.
I had the profound honor of being mentored, taught, and supervised by the late Dr. Gina Ogden—visionary sex therapist, researcher, and creator of the 4-D Wheel. Her guidance not only shaped my clinical practice but transformed how I understand healing, sexuality, and the sacred. Gina’s mentorship was a blessing that continues to ripple through my work, anchoring it in deep listening, embodied presence, and reverence for ancestral wisdom.
She didn’t just teach me a model—she invited me into a lineage of healing that integrates body, mind, heart, and spirit. I carry her teachings forward with gratitude, humility, and fierce devotion.

Come as you are.
Walk the Wheel.
Honor your work in the world.
The healing path is not linear. It's cyclical, spiraling us back into deeper truths.
A little about me…
I spent many years in community mental health—offering care to individuals and families navigating immense pain. While I cherished my clients, I often found myself at odds with systems that prioritized productivity over presence, pathology over possibility, and symptom management over soul-tending. The more profound wisdom of the body, spirit, and ancestral knowing was nowhere to be found. And sex positivity? Unspoken. Out of reach.
My spirit ached for a more sacred and embodied way—a path where clients were seen as whole, even in their pain. A path that welcomed mystery, meaning, and connection.
After a long season of soul-searching, I found my way to sex therapy. This calling invited all parts of me into the room: my humanity, my spirituality, my sensuality, my cultural lineage. I was guided and mentored by some of the most visionary sex therapists of our time—including the late Dr. Gina Ogden, creator of the 4-D Wheel. Gina’s wisdom changed the trajectory of my life and practice. Through her teachings, I stepped into a way of working that is relational, somatic, spiritual, and liberatory—a way of healing that honors the sacred in every story.
Today, as a therapist, mentor, and supervisor, I hold space for healing that is not just about surviving, but about reclaiming joy, agency, intimacy, and wholeness. I believe becoming a sex therapist is a sacred initiation—an act of love, courage, and devotion. Clients—and often supervisees—entrust me with truths they’ve never spoken aloud. Together, we bring breath, ritual, and reverence to the most vulnerable corners of the human experience.
I offer virtual supervision to therapists and healing arts professionals across the U.S. and internationally—those walking the path toward AASECT Certification, or seeking to deepen their alignment with their soul’s purpose as a healer.
My approach to supervision is holistic, intuitive, and integrative. We begin with the person of the therapist—your identities, your longings, your body’s wisdom, your sacred questions. Together, we weave spiritual practice, ancestral remembrance, somatic attunement, and decolonial frameworks with the practical skills and ethical grounding you need to thrive.
Because becoming a sex therapist isn’t just a career move—it’s a transformational journey. It changes how you live, how you love, how you relate to your own body and the divine.
If you feel the call to this path, I invite you to reach out.
There is a place for you here. The world is waiting for your medicine.
My Supervision Values
The Person of the Therapist Training Model presents a model that prepares therapists to make active and purposeful use of who they are, personally and professionally, in all aspects of the therapeutic process—relationship, assessment and intervention. conscious and planned use of a therapist’s race, gender, culture, values, life experience, and in particular, personal vulnerabilities and struggles in how they relate and help clients.
Clinical supervision can then emphasize the purposeful utilization of self-in the moment—both flaws and strengths —in the therapeutic relationship in combination with the technical interventions with clients.
Intersectionality is a concept for understanding the ways that multiple forms of inequality or disadvantage compound themselves and create obstacles that often are not understood among conventional ways of thinking. Inclusion is critical to the field of sexuality so that sexual minorities, marginalized folx, non-English speakers and those of various cultures can receive good and knowledgeable sex therapy and support.
Equality is about the fair treatment of everyone. seeking mental and sexual health.
Equity creates equal possible outcomes for everyone because, despite effort and merit, people can experience substantial barriers in obtaining mental and sexual health.
Diversity is all the ways in which people differ from one another. This can include race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, socioeconomic status, veteran status, education, marital status, language, age, gender, gender expression, gender identity, sexual orientation, mental or physical ability, and learning styles
Inclusion is the culture in which the mix of people can feel comfortable and confident to be themselves, and seek support in a way that aligns with who they are. Having sex therapists that also reflect the population they are serving is also essential.
Some of the most fundamental understanding of the human condition emerges from the Western understanding of what is considered healthy, normal, and acceptable. The decolonizing perspective calls for action towards social change, inclusion, and validation of the lived experiences of indigenous populations, people of color, and the economically disadvantaged, among others.
I teach my supervisees to address the whole person not just the presenting problem. This includes a person’s physical, emotional, mental, social, and spiritual well-being. Addressing the whole person in body-mind-heart-spirit can bring out the healthiest, happiest version of ourselves and heal. It also supports clients not to focus only performance and function, and see the whole of their sex and sexuality narrative.
I have presented at various AASECT Conferences about the importance of embodiment techniques, to get clients back in their bodies rather than keeping them sitting while exploring thoughts and feelings. Embodiment or body-focused processes assist our clients in creating a different experience in the moment. Supervisees are guided through different processes to help them connect to their own bodies.
Becoming AASECT Certified has profoundly enriched my life, offering me invaluable insights into human sexuality and relationships that have strengthened my connections and elevated my professional practice.
This journey, guided by a holistic approach, has not only made me a more compassionate and effective therapist but also empowered me to see the interconnectedness of various aspects of well-being.
As a supervisor, I now have the privilege of guiding and supporting others, fostering their development, and witnessing the transformative impact of this certification on their lives and careers.
